WME is one of the largest employers in the district, the establishment employs approximately 160 employees providing opportunities from general labourers to skilled trade and worker positions.

We offer opportunities such as  Stock Handling,Slaughtering, Boning Room, Loadout, Logistics and Plant Maintenance.

WME are currently providing training in Certificate II Meat Processing (Abattoirs), Certificate III Meat Processing (Slaughtering) and Certificate III Meat Processing (Boning Room), encouraging employees to increase skills leading to a career within the Australian Meat Industry.
